Latest Updates from Our Project:

The Pre-Order is Store Closing Soon
over 4 years ago – Thu, Dec 12, 2019 at 03:01:29 PM

After being able to extend the pre-order period, we are now at a point where we need to close down the preorder shop and finalize all orders and delivery addresses. The store will close at midnight EST on Thursday, the 19th of December (1 week from this update). All Kickstarter backers and pre-order customers will need to confirm their orders and delivery addresses by the cut-off date. Any orders that do not have delivery info confirmed will ship to our fulfillment center in the USA. Please note that this may result in additional delivery costs for backers outside of the USA.

If you have any issues accessing your order in on Backerkit, please contact us with a direct message on Kickstarter. The Backerkit store will also have a countdown clock added to the shop front to act as a reminder.

One popular question we are receiving in regards to the store is, will Hagglethorn Hollow be available from game stores in the future? While we do plan to offer retail options (online and physical) for Hagglethorn Hollow, we can't commit any launch dates at this stage. We first plan to expand the range with additional products and then move into retail as we grow the range and the company. Supporting physical gaming stores is very important to us and acknowledge the vital role they play in supporting and growing the industry. Still, we need to be mindful not to overcommit and pace our growth to ensure the integrity of the products we produce.

Lastly, thanks again for the great response to a recent post showcasing the 'Journey of a Mini" on our social media pages. It encouraged us to make some resin prototypes of 1:1 versions of the Town Statues based on the original sculpts by Johnny Fraser-Allen. While the miniatures will remain exclusive to Kickstarter and Pre-orders for Hagglehtorn Hollow, we are considering releasing a limited run of the 1:1 versions in the future. Bookends? Garden Ornaments? Door Stops? Horcruxes? Be great to hear your thoughts.

In the meantime, JK will be available in the comments and will endeavor to respond or seek out answers as they arise.  Thank you all again for your support, and we will have more updates soon.

The TTG Team

The latest news from TTG
over 4 years ago – Thu, Nov 28, 2019 at 11:06:05 PM

Hello everyone.

We appreciate your patience with the shipping delay and have heard your call regarding additional communication. Here are the latest from TTG and further information for delivery.

The TTG Team is Expanding

For those who follow the KS comments and our other social outlets, you likely would have seen comments from fellow backer, Jon aka ‘JK - Hagglethornian Warden of the Mill’.  Jon, an avid collector and gaming enthusiast has been an active voice during and post-campaign in the comments thread, often providing quick answers and informed feedback to various questions. Jon continues to be a real encourager and supporter and as he also lives in New Zealand, it’s meant we have had the pleasure of meeting up with Jon several times.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jon as the newest TTG team member. It’s early days but initially, Jon’s role will include being a key interface with backers and provide assistance on Q&A and updates (like this one) across the various platforms. Jon will be actively engaged in the comments section, providing some updated content and perhaps a few bread crumbs along the way of upcoming releases and events.

Post-Kickstarter we intentionally stood back from the KS comments thread as we wanted the forum to driven by the fans/backers and asked our backers to DM us for any personal issues or queries. However,  we’ve recognized the need to be more active in order to keep more of our backers informed. We also realized that not everyone follows our other social outlets in which we have primarily focused on.

Jon’s role is going to focus on increasing overall communication across all our social platforms and ensure our messaging is consistent and also, to improve our response time as well.

Production/Shipping Updates

We’ve had several direct message queries, and see comments requesting an update, and whilst not a huge amount has changed (from the previous update) we’re happy to share as much info as is applicable.

Our initial production/delivery schedule had quite a bit of contingency factored into it  (we believed it to be quite overly-generous) and with plenty of room for QA, production challenges and possible delays. However, several unforeseen issues, including the magnet alignment issue significantly pushed us back in our schedule. The factory we use is one of the best in the world for resin products and could not immediately reschedule the production of our affected pieces for us due to existing schedules with standing contracts. We can appreciate their loyalty to their existing clients and know that they are doing everything they can to get our pieces through production asap. We don’t want to commit to a delivery date until we have the final pieces produced as from there, the estimates for shipping can be more accurately calculated by our shipping partners.

Whilst this has an obvious impact on delivery we have not suffered significant loss or gone backward, we are just experiencing a time delay. The pieces look great, we are very happy with the painted versions and the idea of producing almost 60,000 individual items is thrilling! One of the unexpected benefits is that it’s enabled us to review several aspects of production which will enable our future campaigns to run more smoothly and significantly cut delivery times as well.

Below shows side-by-side comparisons of the painted options.  Our pieces are on the left (you may recognize them as pieces from the “Zombicide comes top Hagglethorn Hollow” with their additional grass tuffs). The factory painted products are on the right and as you can see, they have achieved a fantastic result and we are very pleased.

(Please note, these images do appear a little darker upon review. We will also put out a video next week to show them in 3D)

Other TTG Projects

Backers and followers may have seen other TTG projects being posted on TTG’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages. There have been a few concerns raised regarding our focus on the delivery of HH and we want to address and hopefully alleviate any concerns.

The world of Hagglethorn Hollow is extensive; as a team, we continue to progress creative elements and ideas while we manage the physical delivery of HH (this works to the various team members strengths). We are very conscious of some Kickstarter/companies being distracted by new projects but rest assured we have an ordered approach to how we want to expand the Hagglethorn Hollow world and our first priority will always be delivered.

We are working on further updates to various questions and plan to release these in the coming weeks. This will include info on the new Hagglehtorn Hollow products in development, the Zombicide collaboration and much more. In the meantime, JK will be available in the comments and will endeavor to respond or seek out answers as they arise.  Thank you all again for your support.

Ike, Johnny, and now, JK too!

The Fishermans Storehouse and Hunters Lodge - from Concept to Reality
over 4 years ago – Wed, Oct 16, 2019 at 03:28:58 AM

As we wait for our remaining Hagglethorn Hollow pieces to be produced, we have been moving steadily ahead with work on the tree campaign and other projects that will be released next year. A few progress pics will start to appear on our social media pages in the next few weeks, so be sure to follow us to be able to see the first peek at them. Click here for the TTG Facebook page.

We also realized we never revealed the fully completed Fishermans Storehouse and Hunters Lodge! Many of you saw the early sketches and a production video released earlier this year, but since we never actually showed the fully realized buildings, we thought we would do that today! These are the factory molds and painted by Johnny (These are not the paint masters, so colors are not accurate). The pictures show the new buildings on the medium dungeon base, which is a modular option for those who have the base in their orders already.

**Please note that the paint/colors of these prototypes may not be accurate to the final product.

The Fishermans Storehouse: The structure of the Fishermans Storehouse hints at the origins of Hagglethorn Hollow's earliest settlers. With its practical use of ruined boats, this towering structure is a homely and welcoming refuge to those Hagglethonian fishermen who do not wish to risk the journey back to the village through the swamplands after the Gloaming has set.

The Hunters Lodge: The Hunters Lodge serves as headquarters to those daring trappers and trackers who make their living from bounty’s paid by the wizarding guild to secure them live specimens of the fey folk inhabiting the wilds out of town.

As many of our backers are aware, we're working through a production delay and due to our factories' workload, are still a few weeks away from production resuming for the remaining pieces. We are using this down-time to review all aspects of shipping to ensure we have the most efficient process in place and avoid any possible delays. The pre-order store will remain open for a few more weeks and we will also wait to confirm shipping addresses until we are close to the shipping date as well.

Thanks again everyone,

Gen Con Review Part 2
over 4 years ago – Sun, Sep 01, 2019 at 03:21:03 AM

Coming to you from the home workshop/cave/burrow of TTGs Johnny Fraser-Allen, we expand a little more on GenCon and what the future holds for TTG. For those who follow TTG on Facebook and Twitter, most of this information has been revealed, but we thought we would address it all in one video.

We also wanted to show a few more pics of the pieces that were created specifically for "Zombicide comes to Hagglethorn Hollow" prototype. As our previous update mentioned, sculpted tiles were created by Johnny for Hagglethorn Hollow dwellings to sit on. These tiles had the recognizable grid sections that Zombicide players would have been very familiar with. This allowed for quite a seamless integration of the worlds and gameplay.

Keen eyes may be able to tell where the tile bases and dwellings meet and of course, it's obvious Johnny added moss and grasses to the design as well (and a zombie corpse or two for good measure). For those of you interested in making you own bases and adding other custom features, the techniques used will be discussed in the upcoming book "The Art and making of Hagglethorn Hollow." The book is still available for pre-order through our Backerkit store. For our backers, please keep an eye out for the email reminder in the next week to confirm your shipping addresses. We do need to lock them in as we near the shipping date lock-off point.

For any questions about orders, please message us directly on KS or on our FB page where we will do our best to reply asap.

Thanks again everyone.
